Banbury Howard

Leading the design pack

From state-of-the art hospitality suites to digital engineering – the UK’s largest reseller of commercial wood chippers has upped its game with help from Banbury Howard

As anyone in the manufacturing industry knows, Timberwolf is a name to watch. Producing specialist chippers and shredders to the UK market and around the world, this proud British manufacturer offers undisputed levels of performance, innovation and quality in its market – and needed a user experience to match.

With more products coming online, more resellers to reach out to and a growing community of Timberwolf fans wanting to hire its products, the company reached out to Banbury Howard to create and improve a superior end user experience. Over 12 months, we created a robust marketing strategy, which has cemented the company’s iconic status and improved the on and offline experience.

Website rebuild and optimisation

Timberwolf’s existing website was built on proprietary systems, which were difficult for the marketing team to update and maintain. To overcome this challenge, we rebuilt the site from the ground up; creating a dynamic front-end experience combined with user-friendly CMS that allowed for easy product uploads along with descriptions and rich content, such as product brochures and videos. To limit the loss of valuable web traffic during the changeover phase, we implemented SEO best practices to the site.

Dealers and community

Timberwolf was also keen to harness the value in its reseller community, so we set about creating a Dealer Locator Map that allows anyone to find a local dealer simply by entering their postcode or dealer name. Timberwolf has a legion of fans worldwide, so to demonstrate the love for Timberwolf products, we created the ‘Wolf Wall’, a community platform that encourages customers to be part of the Timberwolf story. Already packed with proud ‘Wolf owners, this is proving a popular incentive boosting web traffic to the site from social channels.

From container to hospitality suite

With such a striking brand and product, Timberwolf is perfectly positioned to make a splash at trade exhibitions and with our help, the company firmly stole the limelight at European trade shows this summer. Instead of a traditional shell-style stand, attendees could meet and greet Timberwolf at its specially refurbished shipping containers complete with a balcony, decking, bi-fold doors, AV hook-up and, best of all, a fully-equipped bar. Now that’s what we call leading the pack!
