It’s not every day you’re asked to build a robot, so when we were tasked to create a Midwich gaming technology campaign, we set to transforming it into something epic.
Gaming is big business, with new features continually being developed and games packed with ever more realistic, bright and high definition content.
Consumer spend in the UK games industry is growing rapidly and gamers are always looking to take their gaming experience to the next level. Recognising this niche market and the requirements of their resellers, Midwich identified the need for a new campaign, showcasing 4K display technology, as well as audio and streaming solutions to transform gaming into close reality.
Focusing our concept around that transformation, our hero robot was extended across an integrated campaign, featuring a 16 page guide, direct mail, eshots and launch event.
The guide, which was packed with market information, keys facts and a selection of the revolutionary gaming display and audio products available from Midwich, featured gaming style hero imagery from across the decades, including sportsmen, cars, robots and spacecraft.
Distributed via the sales team and by direct mail, the guide was supported by digital communications and social media, while a launch event engaged sales teams with ‘gaming through the ages’ which included our transforming box robots challenge.
