A winning day at iExpo and innovations you really couldn’t do without

Thank you to everyone who came to see us during iExpo at Adastral Park last week. We hope everyone who visited the event enjoyed it as much as we did.

It’s really interesting to see how innovation shapes our world, and to think about how it will influence things to come.

Keeping to theme, we asked visitors to our stand to vote for the innovation of the 20th or 21st century that they couldn’t live without.

We’ve read the answers with interest, counted the votes and can now reveal that the winner is…the Internet. Other popular items included mobile phones, tablets and laptops.

Some of the more unusual answers which were submitted included tights, electricity and the transistor radio. Someone even voted for their own birth!

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and for taking part in our poll. We added all of the answers to a hat, and our congratulations go to Tim from BT whose postcard was drawn at random, rendering him the winner of a bottle of Taittinger champagne.
