Championing world class tech from team Midwich

As Team GB reeled in the medals in Rio, the Midwich Games gained sales momentum.

The teams at Midwich are passionate about providing the very best in service, matched only by the world class products that they stock. Working with them, it’s easy to get excited about all things tech, and when they came to us with an idea for a summer promotion, we were keen to get going.

Summer 2016 was a true season of sport and, with many vendors sponsoring events, the award winning technology that Midwich supplies took centre stage too.

Looking to highlight these products and to educate customers on the different product ranges stocked by the technology solutions distributor, we planned and designed a campaign around the Midwich Summer 2016 Games. Of course, also taking into account the stringent guidelines set in place by the Olympic Committee to ensure strict compliance.

Creating a unique Midwich Summer Games stadium plan, we developed a vibrant, interactive campaign microsite, encouraging users to discover product areas that they might not yet be taking advantage of. Aiding this approach, a number of medals were hidden within the pages, each of which allowed the user entry into a prize draw.

The microsite was supported with direct mail – both traditional and digital – as well as online advertising and social media.

Engaging resellers and installers with an interactive and engaging proposition, the concept for this campaign was also rolled out to the consumer market, enhancing sales and encouraging customers to explore new sales opportunities with Midwich.
